This Victorian set is rare to find, as it includes not only a fine authentic example of antique bloomers, but also the matching lace petticoat. The pantaloons have a fitted shaped waistband and flared legs in dainty fish net lace & machine eyelet.

Matching petticoat is seven gores in a graceful bell shape with deep scalloped lace & tucks at the lower skirt. Ladies' Size 2 to 3 Measurements Bloomers: Waist 25, Hip up to 46; Rise 16.5 (waist to crotch), Inseam 12, Outseam 22.75 Inches Petticoat: Waist 24, Hip up to 55; Length 39 Inches Era 1800s Label None, neatly made by hand Materials White cotton lawn, white cotton fish net lace with bow motif, white machine sewn eyelet trims Closure Side seam polished shell buttons with hand-sewn buttonholes on bloomer, center back shell button & slit on petticoat Condition Excellent Condition Detail Clean and fresh, looks exceptionally nice, the fullness below the waist yoke on bloomer is only on one side (and we'd assume this would be the back as pictured) but it would place the buttons & closure to the wearer's right, suggesting fullness goes to the front; the petticoat has a single beige speck at front and back, and a 1-inch L-shaped tear with hand-sewn repair just below the button Washing Instructions Cold hand wash, shape and dry flat, press on medium-high setting Please note: All measurements (bust - waist - hip) are the maximum body measurements that will fit the item.
